This privacy policy describes how Work Well Massage (“we,” “us”), the massage studio of Jessie, a licensed massage therapist at 3125 E Briar Ct, Athol, ID 83801, collects, uses and discloses personal information when you visit workwellmassage.com (the “Site”). “Personal information” means any information that can identify an individual.

Information we collect

Device and usage information

What: your browser type and version, IP address, time zone, cookie information, the pages you view, how you arrived at the Site and how you interact with it. Why: to load the Site correctly and to understand how it is used so we can improve it. How: collected automatically through cookies, log files and similar technologies, including Google Analytics.

Information you send us

What: your name, phone number, email address and anything you include in a call, text or email, such as the areas that bother you or a note from one of our tools. Why: to answer your questions and schedule your appointment. How: collected from you, only when you choose to contact us.

Our free tools

The massage tools on this Site run in your browser. What you enter is not sent to us unless you choose to text or email the result, or sign up for reminders with your name and email or mobile number. The Tension Map may save your last selections in your own browser so you can update them later. We record anonymous usage events, such as that a tool was completed and which style it suggested, but not the notes you type.

Booking and gift certificates

Online booking and gift certificate purchases are handled by MassageBook, a third-party scheduling service. When you book or buy through MassageBook, the information you provide there, including payment details, is collected and processed by MassageBook under its own privacy policy. We receive the appointment details we need to provide your massage.

Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, for example when you book or sign up for reminders, Work Well Massage may text you appointment confirmations and reminders, replies to your questions and occasional offers. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. You can also call or text (208) 410-4005.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. Service providers that deliver our messages process numbers only to send them.

How we use personal information

We use personal information to provide our services: to respond to you, schedule and prepare for appointments, keep the Site working and secure, understand how the Site is used, and comply with the law. We do not sell personal information.

Sharing personal information

We share personal information with service providers that help us run the Site and the business, such as our website host, Google Analytics and MassageBook. We may also share information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request, or to protect our rights.

Google Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. You can read how Google uses information at policies.google.com/privacy and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

If you see ads for Work Well Massage on other websites, you can opt out of interest-based advertising through Facebook ad settings, Google ad settings and the Digital Advertising Alliance’s opt-out portal.

Do Not Track

We keep information you send us for our records unless and until you ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep by law.

Minors

The Site is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy, and to ask us to correct, update or delete it. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). To make a request, email relax@workwellmassage.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf by contacting us at the same address. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
