A massage therapist for Hayden, Idaho
The Work Well Massage studio is in Athol, about 19 minutes north of Hayden on US-95. It is a solo practice, so Jessie is the only therapist you will ever see, and she has been doing this work since 2008.
Why drive north
Why make the drive from Hayden
Hayden has places to get a massage closer to home. People still drive 19 minutes to Athol because Work Well offers something a busy spa cannot: the same experienced therapist every time, a quiet private room and one flat price with no upsell at the table.
Jessie has practiced since 2008, and because she works alone, she gets to know each regular client well. When you come back in six weeks, she already knows the knot under your right shoulder blade.
What is included
Every massage, in any of eight styles, is $100 for 60 minutes, $140 for 90 and $180 for 120. Hot stones and aromatherapy are included whenever you want them. See the full price list.
How Jessie works
Work Well is a Christian-owned business. For you that means honest answers, a respectful room and clear professional boundaries, without anything preachy about it.
Growing town, busy bodies
What people from Hayden bring to the table
Hayden has grown fast along the US-95 corridor, and the aches Jessie sees from there follow the work that growth brings.
Building the new neighborhoods
Framers, roofers, electricians and landscapers spend the day overhead, on their knees or carrying weight up ladders. That usually shows up as a stiff low back and hips that will not let go. If regular pressure never feels like enough, Ashiatsu massage, done barefoot with overhead bars, gives broad, deep, even pressure across big muscle groups.
Screens, desks and the drive in
Plenty of Hayden residents work at a desk or from home and add a commute on top. Forward head, rounded shoulders and tension headaches tend to follow. Deep tissue massage through the neck and upper back is a common request, and many people find it eases that end-of-week tightness.
Weekends on Hayden Lake
Wakeboarding, tubing with the kids and rowing back to the dock all ask a lot of shoulders that sat still all week. If you are more frazzled than sore, aromatherapy massage pairs a relaxing massage with essential oils chosen for calm or easier breathing.

Session length
How long a session should you book from Hayden?
An hour covers one or two problem areas, such as the neck and shoulders. Choose 90 minutes for a full-body massage with extra time on a stubborn spot, and two hours when you want deep work followed by a long, unhurried finish.
| Length | Price | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| 60 minutes | $100 | Neck, shoulders or low back; a regular tune-up between busy weeks |
| 90 minutes | $140 | Full body plus focused work; a first deep tissue or Ashiatsu session |
| 120 minutes | $180 | Full body at an easy pace; recovery after a heavy stretch on the job |
With close to 40 minutes of round-trip driving, a 90-minute session often makes the most of the trip. If you have never had a massage, though, an hour of Swedish massage is a comfortable place to start, and you can go longer next time.
